Your charming smile
Always beguiling
It stopped my heart
I felt I was dying
But life carried on
Love, blissfully satisfying
Your smile reminds me
Of those sunny days
But you’re not really smiling
As your teeth gnash
And your slushy eyes glaze
Because the flesh of your face
Is rotting away
And it’s you that is dead
In this case
So, with a doleful look
And the hammer in place
I say a goodbye
That will blow you away
Because you aren’t really you

Zombie sludge
Is thicker than blood
And I let death do us part
